Georgi

Georgi, an 8-year-old boy of Roma origin, was born in the town of Sliven. At the age of 6, he was removed from his home by the State Child Protection Agency and spent a year in foster care. Thereafter, he was adopted by Ivan, who himself had been adopted as a child. His father decides to enroll Georgi in a public school, hoping he would receive a good education and support from teachers and classmates.

Unfortunately, Ivan faced discrimination and hostiliy. To provide the best for his child, Ivan decided to transfer Georgi to a private school with high principles. 

Thus, Georgi joined the Denis Diderot School, where he found the necessary care and support from teachers and friends. Here, he was able to develop his interests and abilities.
